Ogun state Govenor, Dapo Abiodun, has pledged to compensate the victims of the Sabo market fire which occured on Tuesday.
Abiodun made the pledge when he visited the site of the incident to access the level of damage done by the fire.
Over 300 stalls were razed by the inferno which, according to reports, started around 2am in one of the locked-up shops due to a suspected power surge when electricity was restored.
It is believed that the weather plus generators, gas cylinders and grinding machines contributed to the rage of the fire.
